Preferred Files:
Submit your artwork as editable or outlined vector-based AI files. We also accept EPS, SVG, and PDF formats, provided they are editable and vector-based.
CDR and PSD files are harder for our team to work with and may extend your timeline or add cost. Use vector formats whenever possible.

Colors:
We print using CMYK or Pantone inks. For brands with specific color requirements, Pantone printing is recommended — it delivers more consistent results across production runs than CMYK, which can vary slightly between machines.
Working with RGB colors? Our system automatically converts them to CMYK. We’ll always share a digital proof before printing so you can confirm the colors match your expectations.
Font:
Outline all fonts in your design file before submitting. If your brand uses a proprietary or purchased font, include it in a separate document. We will never share, copy, or use your fonts for any other client.
Keep these requirements in mind when using text and line art:
- Make sure text is at least 8pt. Small font sizes may look good on your screen, but may not print well.
- Try to keep text in bold colors that are made up of one or two inks maximum (C, M, Y, or K).
- Artwork registration to any panel may vary up to 1/8 of an inch.
- Include at least a 0.25-inch bleed in areas where graphics extend past the dieline.
- When printing lines in a solid or dark color, they should be no thinner than 1 point.
- Make sure all fonts are embedded or outlined.
- Save your designs using the ‘Adobe PDF/X-1a’ preset, where possible.
Support Graphics:
Graphics add visual impact to your packaging. Before submitting your file, confirm that all linked images are embedded and every link is active.
Alternatively, compress your graphics into a zip file and submit them separately — whichever method works best for your workflow.
Dieline:
For a clean, production-ready dieline, extend your background artwork to the bleed lines and keep all art and text at least 1/8” clear of knife and score lines.
Dieline setup can be challenging. Our design team offers 100% free support to ensure your layout is production-ready and the final result matches your vision exactly.
UPC’s/Barcodes:
Unscannable barcodes frustrate customers and cause operational problems. Submit barcode images in high resolution — the larger the image, the more reliable the scan.
Unsure about barcode sizing? Send it to us separately and we’ll place it correctly in your design.
