SXM Media recently secured an exclusive partnership with Amazon to bring targeted audio advertising to voice-activated assistants around the world.
The initiative was certainly something to shout about, giving brands an unparalleled opportunity to reach their audiences in the home via connected devices like Amazon Alexa and Echo.
Naturally, SXM Media wanted to spread the word about the partnership in as many ways as possible. With deep roots and expertise in audio advertising, it excelled at amplifying the news sonically across podcasts, radio and streaming services.
But it wanted to go further. At the time, audio platforms were just emerging as a B2B marketing medium, and to reach its target audience of marketers and advertising executives, SXM Media needed to think outside the box, or rather, in it.
So the team devised a plan: deliver hundreds of highly personalized gift boxes to prospects and customers across America.

With the campaign approved, the SXM Media team reached out to us with a detailed request: bespoke, custom tuck end boxes that showcased the Amazon partnership through an eye-catching, playful design.
Because the team planned to send a bespoke gift to each target customer, they needed boxes in several styles, which meant varying the designs while keeping the brand messaging consistent.
Our experts quickly designed several mock-ups while advising the SXM Media team on critical factors like paper grade options, printing techniques and finishing touches.
